Internal Application

- Cardiac condition, lowers cholesterol
-  Tumors of the abdomen, glands, liver,  and throat, cancer
- Stomach problems such as acid reflux
 
External Application
- Remedy for burns, pimples, skin conditions,
- Astringent  

Preparation
Infusion: Pour two cups boiling water over one ounce dried leaves. Brew for 10 minutes. Take 1/2 cup twice daily. Same preparation can be used externally.
