Common Uses

Internal Application
- Aphrodisiac, male impotence
- Bronchitis, goiter, thyroid problems and to tone and strengthen the glands in the body,
- Laxative, sore throat,
- Mild anti-coagulant, treats chronic lung diseases,
- Dysentery, diarrhea, disorders of the kidney and bladder,
- Digestive conditions such as gastritis, peptic and duodenal ulcers

External Application
- Soothes skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, sunburn and chapped skin.

Preparation
Soak 1 ounce of moss in 2 cups water (can be left over night). This can be applied to the skin as well as taken internally. Consequently this same preparation can be boiled for 10 minutes. Take 1 cup per day depending on condition.
